August 4, 2010 00:29:20OK...one last time, what are the settings for timing and torque?
Is the timing simply least to most (1 to 4)? Is the torque simply most management to least management (again, 1 to 4)?
Im going to update tomorrow, then redo the ECM...figured I might as well play around some.

heat insulation

March 7, 2010 17:09:52Hello, the names Matt. I am pretty new to the diesel world, and looking forward to getting my hands dirty. I just bought a 1990 W250 with the Cummins and 5 sp Getrag trans. Its a good running truck, with some mild mods on it. It has a fully rebuild head, with ARP studs, and scheid fire rings, has a 2nd gen turbo (havent figured out which one yet), BHAF setup, and a 4" exhaust. The truck has only 397,000 miles on it, and its just getting broke in.

March 7, 2010 20:12:41Found this site while looking up questions I had for a newly purchased 1992 drw cummins truck. Got a really good deal on it and love cummins since I "tuned" up our shop truck. My Old truck LOL is a 2003 dmax cclb drw with the usual mods. Wanted to go twins and efi live with it but will need a trans first. With that being said I bought a MT cummins truck to play with. I found this site while trying to get information on testing and replacing the glowplugs in my 97 7.3L Powerstroke. What I found here led me to a site to buy from, and gave me the confidence to replace them myself, which was surprisingly easy once I got the stubborn tight-fitting valve cover off of the passenger side.
