2: If there is air stuck in a radiator (not purged or whatever) can that impact the temperatures, and by how much?
3: How much impact can a stand-off/fan holder/spacer thing between... - [ Read more] |

X58 Xeon vs i7 September 22, 2011 23:22:13So apparently, my house is where PCs some to die. Just got two more. Usually I just reload em and pass em on to someone else, but one of these may be worth keeping. Its a Dell T3500 w/ a 1366 dual core Xeon, problem is the southbridge is dying. (Hence, I have it)
So the question is, how do I tell what i7 1366 boards will run the Xeon, or will all of them? This mobo is X58 based. Can I assume that any X58 board could run this chip w/o issue? The Xeons dont show up... - [ Read more] |

Usually, this has no effect on my PC or other electronics, however when it happened on Monday of this week, my PC, as well as my TV/cable box all shut off. It must have been a larger than normal drop in power.
Ever since this,... - [ Read more] |
