September 2, 2008 20:32:31Im with one of the big shared hosts. Support is patchy at best, which isnt a problem until you require help at which point its agonising as you have to wait an age to get an unsatisfactory response.

Downtownhost 3+ month review
August 22, 2008 13:47:25I wrote an initial setup experience review of downtown host including support w/ transferring my sites a few months ago. Now I am going to extend the review with reliability, speed and performance.
So far, the support and helpfulness has been the same. Rarely does support wait longer than 10 min to respond to questions. They are always responded with a great attitude.

I have not had to talk to support that much except for a few of my clients that also had hosting with them.
Each time I talk to them they are very friendly and try their very best to solve the problem.

Earthquake
July 30, 2008 23:38:17We had a moderate earthquake here in Los Angeles yesterday, and as we were standing in the parking lot waiting for the building to collapse in an aftershock, no one could make a call on their cell phones!
Verizon, ATT, T-Mobile - you name the provider, no one in that parking lot could place a call.

How long does the Windows registry take for it to realize a new password has been inputed into Outlook Express? I edited an existing email account with a new password and am getting an "Enter Network Password" window. I dont really want to go in there and make changes manually incase I mess something up.
