Looking for a small host. July 30, 2008 20:52:03Hello everyone.
I am looking for a small hosting package but I am trying to stay in a small price range with school starting up soon.
I need a maximum of 500MB space, 5 GB bandwidth and 5 MySQL databases. I prefer cPanel, no need for fantastico or other script installers.
I will mostly be doing custom scripts, website designs and photography. I would like to be able to upgrade at anytime as well.
I was considering going back to my old host... - [ Read more] |
Looking for a small hosting plan! *URGENT* December 31, 2007 08:15:29Hi!
I used to have a plan under my friends SurpassHosting reseller plan but has expired.
Im decided to get myself a shared hosting plan. However, it seems that most companies out there provide relatively huge amount of space and bandwidth that I do not need.
Im looking for a plan that provides around 200mb space + 5gb bandwidth for no more than USD25/year.
Any good and reliable companies to recommend?
Thanks in advance! - [Read more] |
Looking for ASP.net/MS-SQL developer July 27, 2008 13:37:43Hi everyone. I’m way out of my depth when it comes to ASP.net or MS-SQL (more familiar with PHP/mySQL), so I’m looking for any web developers that can program in both these languages.
The customer is the Laboratory Animals Centre at the National University of Singapore and deals mostly with animal research. The main aim is to design for the customer a web portal that would interface with a database, allowing users to enter data (end-users), approve data... - [ Read more] |

Looking for Hosting Companies January 31, 2008 03:38:42Hey Everyone,
Im just going to go ahead and apologize right now in case this is posted in the wrong forum or doesnt belong here.
Well, recently there has been tons of threads and articles around the internet stating how there are tremendous amounts of hosting companies popping up all over the place, and then shortly after, falling apart and going under. This can be due to many reasons; lack of funds, business, or not enough help. This has various effects on... - [ Read more] |
Looking for multiple domain or reseller hosting..? August 31, 2007 17:22:16Hello there,
I wonder whether you could give me some advice.
I have a design company and we are starting to do more web work. I have been looking at multiple domain hosting but I am concerned with the add-on/parked domain vs true domain issue.
The main problem is that I would like to use private SSL certificates for e-commerce stores and consequently a dedicated IP. Can I only do this with true domains under one account or Reseller hosting? ... - [ Read more] |

Looking fora host August 31, 2007 15:03:42I am looking for a new host with the following specs:
10 GB storage
80 GB bandwidth
The usual coding support ( PHP5 etc. {ASP isnt a must})
on a Linux server
Not an overseller !
Plus I want a host who clearly state the allowed resource use of a site ( as there might be 50 users on PHPBB or XOOPS at a time and its quite resource demanding apps )
Managed VPS is also a possibility.

Low space and bandwidth, reliable hosting August 30, 2008 19:23:55I am planning to create a website for my business. Its a bulk exports business and there will be very few visitors, less than 1000 a month. Also space needed should also not exceed 100 mb as I will only have some html information pages and a few pictures of my products.
However, the webhost should be reliable and have an easy to use interface as I am a beginner in this field (I hear cPanel is good). Also I have 2 more domains/businesses which I hope this same hosting should... - [ Read more] |
MagniRack.com SUCKS March 31, 2008 07:29:25What ever you do not buy a VPS from them. Its clear that you get 50% less than you paid for. Ok here is the story.
I worked out a good deal with them with my friend that worked there. 50$ For 3 months of VPS. It was good and a fast VPS for about a month and a half. Then i could not log into SSH but my VPS was still up. No biggie though it was a temp problem So i made a support ticket telling them the problem. 3 days with no response i stated to get mad not being able to get... - [ Read more] |
Milon Hosting Review December 31, 2007 02:21:13I first started out with Milon Hosting as a free customer - they were doing 50mb and 200mb bandwidth where I used it to host a forum (essentially a university club site). As the forum got bigger, I then transferred about 6 months ago to what was then their starter paid account which they now call basic. When I first started their basic was 200mb with 2gb bandwidth - when they renamed they automatically upgraded me to the 500mb and 4gb bandwidth (£16 per year).

Minimal / Budget VPS based in California January 31, 2008 02:20:35Hi guys
Im looking for a minimal / budget VPS based in California.
Im planning to use this for SSH Tunneling (To add security and minimize latency in various applications), hence disk space is not a concern (10MB will do fine). Bandwidth is not a concern either, 500MB will do more than enough.
However my requirements are that it is on a fast, at least 100Mbit connection with minimal latency.
As for price I ask to be less or around $5... - [ Read more] |
More "Easy Web Publishing" migration August 30, 2008 20:08:42As I mentioned in a previous post, EZpublishing, which Ive used since 2000, is exiting the web hosting business. Theyre "migrating" their users to something called "Easy Web Publishing".
"Easy Web Publishing" has no contact address, no Dun and Bradstreet listing, and no web presence until last week. I called their support number, asked for the actual name and address of the business, and was told that only the legal department could give out... - [ Read more] |
