August 15, 2008 00:49:25Okay, so Ive NEVER hosted my own website before and dont really have an idea what Im doing.
The website is personal website, it will also host my blog and a few random sites.
Things I would like:
At least 10 GB space.
I dont know how much bandwidth.
I need it to be able to host wordpress blogs.
I need subdomains, and would like it to allow 2 domains on the plan.

September 1, 2008 01:57:30I was working on the site I have hosted with them and I got my self IP banned.
My ftp program is being stupid its been happening lately. It started doing it after an upgrade. Any way with this host when I get blocked I can not even get to the main site to open a support ticket but can not remember the phone number so was wondering if any one knewit here or could look it up.

I am looking into getting a VPS. I was wondering if GeekLayer.net was a good company? The VPS would be used for email, and my personal site which I plan on running with Drupal and a photo gallery (hopefully within Drupal). So the site will be MYSQL intensive. I may also be hosting a few sites for family/friends.
I was wondering, would 384MB of ram work for this? And would Direct Admin or cPanel be better?

I am looking for a shared hosting that will allow me to run torrentflux on it. It is a simple script that downloads torrents to the server, it is not a TORREN TRACKER. Also the server and script will be only used personally. Meanning i will be the only one using it, and it will be private, meaning no traffic.

anyone used marketplace on ebay yet rather than paypal?
January 30, 2008 12:55:34i completed the checkout part of the payment to a seller, but when i got to the paypal stage to select the card for the payment to come from i realised the card still wasnt active. so had to log out. now, when i try to go back in, i cant make the payment - im being told these items are currently being processed in another order so cannot make payment

Anyone using LunarPages with adult content
