hello everyone about three weeks ago i bought a 96 PSD extended cab long bed with 150k on it and has had the trans rebuilt about 7 months ago from my brother in law for 5 grand, its auto and it shifts really wierd and really hard...the truck is stock other than the exhaust i just put on it, it changes gear way to early sometimes, sometimes it doesnt. when the truck is cold and with decent throttle it shifts smooth.sometimes when in 2nd gear and shifting to 3rd the rpms drop about 400... - [Read more]
Recently installed 5" SS Magnaflow from front pipe back. Fairly easy install sounds good and truck seems to respond well to less restriction. So far no codes or any other adverse affects. The only issue is while idling there is a noticeable hiss at the tail pipe. Just curious, Is this normal...?
I know you have probably heard this a thousand times. I have 2000 F350 powerstroke it started to die when ever it felt like it. Idling going down the road at any speed sometimes would start itself right back up sometimes might have to flip key back and forth to get wait to start light then it would start back up.
