Igreja Peniel In Guaruja

Remote Indian Tribe

To date there has never been contact with this remote tribe. There is much concern about them because illegal logging in the Brazilian jungle is threatening the existence of such remote tribes.

Update on Floods
January 1, 1970 00:00:00There are still more than 500 people missing 15 days after the flooding and landslides started in the mountain region an hour from Rio de Janeiro. To date 832 people lost their lives in the tragedy, and that number is expected to continue rising, and over 20,000 people either lost their homes or have had to evacuate. From the pictures you can see that many homes are built in unsafe areas on or near large hills or mountains, and when it rains hard there are many problems. |

A Friends Wedding

Gearing Up

A Great First School Outreach Of The Year

Since it is now the end of summer here in Brazil and schools are starting up again, it was our first school outreach event this year. What Are The Odds ?
January 1, 1970 00:00:00On Saturday we received an email from a couple in Mississippi. Their 86 year old mother Florence was on a cruise near Brazil and she had a stroke. They took her off of the ship and put her into the ICU unit in a hospital in Brazil. One of Florences 3 sons and daughter in law live in Mississippi, and they were frantically looking for a way to learn about their mothers condition. They finally did a search on the internet for missionaries in Brazil and they found many sites.
