He would be wonderful for a beginner up to a number 5 heeler. He also would be nice for a child first learning to rope and ride. This guy has great cow sense and a wonderful stop. This horse is tough as nails he can endure anything and actually has enough bone to head on. If your looking for something outside of the roping pen he is phenomenal for pasture work and trails. He has been used many times on our farms to gather and doctor cattle. We also trail ride our rope horses to keep them mellow and he is a great trail horse. He can follow and lead without any trouble and spooks from nothing. We bought this horse to teach my girlfriend to heel and he has helped her become a #3 heeler but she now is in nursing school and has very little time for him. This guy has a great pedigree and ability to match. He can make someone a really nice horse.
