After faux opening games in Japan and a made for TV Sunday night game opening day is finally coming tomorrow.  I admit I’m a purist and for me baseball’s season doesn’t start until Cincinatti plays their first game.  That’s the way it’s been for decades and I wish the powers that be would quit tinkering with the game and just stick to tradition.  But it’s no time for tirades so let’s just enjoy John Fogerty and the start of the best game around.
