Karan Johar’s Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was released on October 16, 1998. The movie starred Shahrukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherjee in lead roles and Salman Khan in a guest appearance. Karan Johar made his debut as a director with this superhit film. The film won many awards at 1999’s Filmfare Award ceremony.

The story of the movie was based on Rahul ( Shahrukh Khan) and his tomboy friend Anjali ( Kajol). They were the best friends at the college days. One day beautiful Tina ( Rani Mukherjee) enters in the same college. Rahul falls for sweet and sexy Tina. But on the other hand, Anjali also realized that she has love feelings for Rahul. But when she came to know about Rahul’s love for Tina, her dreams got shattered and she leaves college suddenly. Tina and Rahul got married to each other and have a child named Anjali. Jr. Anjali decides to bring love of Senior Anjali in his Rahul’s life.
