Los Angeles, California (CaymanMama.com) - Legendary actor Harvey Korman has passed away at the age of 81 according to the reports of the UCLA Medical Center. The death of this comic actor was caused due to blood loss after the damage of the abdominal artery aortic aneurysm. Korman’s daughter, Kate Korman has commented on such tragic passing of her father by saying that it was a marvel that he was even able to survive the accident. She also said that every person in the hospital called him the ‘miracle man’ because of his strong determination and aptitude to rebound after many critical operations.

This comic actor appeared on the daily sitcom called the “The Carol Burnett Show” for which he had also won a series of Emmy awards in the years 1969, in 1971 after a gap of two years, in the succeeding year of 1972 and then finally in the year 1974. He had also been able to accomplish a Golden Globe award for his amazing work in the sitcom. Korman had also acted in many famous films like the’ “Blazing Saddles” where he played the part of the boisterous Hedley Lamarr also starring Mel Brooks, He had also made an apperance in films like the “History of the World, Part 1″ and the “High Anxiety”.

Korman had also made his stint as a producer in the brief comedy show called the “The Harvey Korman Show” which also starred him as the central character Harvey Kavanaugh in 1978.
