Khoya Khoya Chand was released on December 7, 2007 and was bannered under Holi Cow Pictures. The movie is directed by Sudhir Mishra and produced by Prakash Jha. The actors in lead roles of the movie were Shiney Ahuja, Soha Ali Khan, Soniya Jehan, Rajat Kapoor, Vinay Pathak and Sushmita Mukherjee while Dipannita Sharma and Saurabh Shukla also played important roles. Shantanu Moitra was the music director of the movie and the songs of the movie were sung by Ajay Jhingran, Sonu Nigam, Antara Chaudhary and Shreya Ghosal.

The movie takes us to the era of 1950s when some romantic movies were being produced. Zafar Ali Naqvi ( Shiney Ahuja ) is a writer who belongs to the family of old Nawaabs in Lucknow. He wished to do some acting in the Film Industry and his fortune didn’t keep him waiting.
