Home prices fell by a record 16.6 percent in Standard & Poors/Case-Shillers monthly housing report.

Intruder shot at Arlington residence January 1, 1970 00:00:00ARLINGTON — A home invasion suspect was shot and killed late Monday night after he and another masked man burst into a house in the 900 block of Carthage Way.
Arlington police said one of three adults inside the residence opened fire on the intruders. The suspect was dead before police arrived.
